Some people considered me to be the first female President. But others of course found that debatable. When I began my term I was born a man. But I had years of struggling with an identity crises and always felt like I was never born in the right body. For decades my feelings of which gender I belonged to was a raging battlefield of emotions. I felt this way since my teen years. But it wasn’t until years later during my presidency I decided to make the ultimate decision. I took the plunge and went under the knife. I went into surgery as a man but emerged as a woman. I went from President Jonathan Lipton to Madame President Joanna Lipton. I was considered the first female president. I was loved by many and considered a hero by the media. There was still death threats against me which tightened security. But being bullied and feeling out of place during my youth allowed me to develop the thick skin I have today.
